how it all started? US
The cuban artist Maylú Hernandez is one of the most important performers from her time. Graduated from The National Cuban School of Art in 1997 as a professional dancer, she has also become a recognized choreographer, singer and musical comedian worldwide. After her debut in 1998, performing the leading role of Sally Bowles in the Musical “Cabaret”, she started an ascendant career traveling around the world to more then 15 countries, and playing the leading roles in operas and musicals like “The Phantom of the Opera”, “The Merry Widow”, “The Faraon´s Court”, “Chicago” and “Evita”, among others, and also performing an extensive repertoire of international music.
